User Guide
Everything the app does, page by page. The same guide ships inside the app, so it works at the range with no signal.

Guides
- Profiles A profile is one rifle-and-scope setup. Create one profile per rifle, or per rifle-and-load combination, so the solver has accurate inputs. The active profile drives every calculation the app makes.
- Projectiles The projectile attached to your profile supplies the ballistic coefficient, drag model, mass and calibre the solver needs. Pick one from the library, create your own, or supply a custom drag curve.
- Locations & Targets A location is a place you shoot. It holds the range settings and atmosphere; each location contains one or more targets. The active location and target drive the firing solution.
- Loads A load records a handload recipe and its measured performance — components, charge weight, seating depth, and velocity tests. Velocity tests can feed muzzle velocity and its variation with temperature back into your profile.
- Results & Layouts Results is your firing solution — a grid of widgets showing drop, wind drift, DOPE and more for the active profile, location and target. It is fully customisable: what is on screen, how big, and in what order is up to you.
- Sessions & Logging A session is one day's shooting — the shots you fire, against which targets, with what result. Logged shots power the truing and calibration tools that fit the solve to your rifle.
- PRS Stages A PRS stage is more than a list of targets: it is build a position, engage, move, rebuild, engage again — all inside one clock. PRS Stages in the drawer is where you write those stages down and train them.
- Importing Data Two kinds of import: chronograph shot files from FX and MagnetoSpeed units, and full loadouts from other ballistic apps such as Strelok. Imported data lands as profiles, loads and velocity tests you can edit.
- Backup, Sync & Account Your data lives on your device. Backups and an optional account keep it safe and move it between devices — export and restore a local backup file, or sign in for cloud sync.
- Apple Watch On iOS, a paired Apple Watch can carry parts of your firing solution to your wrist. The drawer shows a Watch Connected badge when a watch is paired and reachable.
- Settings & Units App-wide preferences live in the user sheet — tap the account icon in the header. Units, appearance and language all live here, and every change applies immediately.
Widget Reference
- Drop The elevation correction needed to hit the active target at its range, shown in your chosen dial units alongside the raw drop.
- Wind Drift The windage correction at the active range — either a low/high band across a range of wind speeds, or one figure when you work from a single wind value.
- Target Card A summary of the targets at the active location and their key solve values — range, elevation and windage — so a whole location reads at a glance.
- Scope View A reticle drawing with the point of impact placed at the active range — a through-the-scope preview of the hold, with working turrets.
- Wind Input Sets the wind speed and direction used by every wind-dependent solve, via a dial and speed control that the rest of the grid follows.
- Wind Meter Drives the wind from a connected wind meter (Calypso ultrasonic or WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter). It writes into the same wind state as Wind Input, so the dial and every wind-dependent solve follow along.
- Wind Chart A live plot of wind speed over time from a connected wind meter, with direction and the session's minimum and maximum.
- Quick Settings A single card of transient solve-time overrides for "what if" tweaks — range, muzzle velocity, atmosphere — without editing the underlying profile.
- KZ Rangefinder Estimate range by bracketing the kill zone, or any known-size target, in your reticle — inverse mil- or MOA-ranging done in the head, on the line.
- Target Selector A slim dropdown of the current location's targets. Picking one makes it the active target — the one every other widget solves and displays for.
- Shot Log On-page shot entry for the active shooting session — the same table the Log Shot modal uses, kept on the grid so logging never leaves Results.
- DOPE Card A full trajectory table at the current wind settings — the card you would tape to a stock. Columns and range step are configurable per instance.
- Trajectory Chart A configurable XY line chart of the solved trajectory. One widget covers most of the obvious plots — drop over distance, drop over time, velocity or energy over range — via axis selectors.
- Danger Space The point-blank range and danger space for a given vital-zone size — the range band over which you can hold dead-on and still hit the vital zone.
- Impact View A face-on view of the target at the active range, with the predicted point of impact plotted on it — so you can see where the shot lands relative to your aim and how far off it is.
- Positions A plan view of the firing point and the targets around it — range and bearing at a glance, and a tap away from each target's dope.
- Group Analysis A shot-group scatter plot with group statistics — extreme spread, mean radius and the centre of the group — drawn from your logged shots.
- Drag Curve The drag coefficient (Cd) against Mach number for the active drag model — the reference curve the ballistic solve is built on.
- Truing Table Predicted versus measured drop from your logged shots, so you can see how well the solve matches reality and where to true your data.
- Sensitivity How much your point of impact shifts at the active range when key inputs are off — a quick read on what actually matters at distance.
- Projectile Compare (Chart) Overlays two projectiles' trajectories from the same rifle setup — same zero, atmosphere and wind — so the difference is down to the bullets alone.
- Projectile Compare (Table) A side-by-side dope table for two projectiles from the same rifle setup, with the difference per row — the numbers behind the compare chart.
- Shot Timer A practice drill timer with a random start beep, par time, and shot splits — optionally driven by the microphone so real shots stop the clock.
- PRS Stage Trainer Runs one of your saved PRS Stages against the clock — build the position, engage the targets, move, rebuild, engage again.
- F-Class Plotter A scoring target you tap to mark shots, with running totals fed to the shot log and a choice of scoring systems.
Tools Reference
- BC Calibrator Fits your projectile's ballistic coefficient to reality, using the shots you have logged with measured drop. Where the Truing Table shows you the error, the calibrator removes it.
- Group Analyser A photo-based shot-group measurer. Photograph your target, mark the shots, and get the group's size and statistics — no ruler at the bench.
- Bench Rest Scorer A photo-based scorer for multi-bull bench rest cards. Photograph a shot card, align the grid, and the tool gauges every impact and totals the score.
- Convertor A quick unit convertor for the measurements shooters juggle — no leaving the app to check a conversion.
