KZ Rangefinder

Estimate range by bracketing the kill zone (or any known-size target) in your reticle — inverse mil-/MOA-ranging done in the head, on the line.

Usage

• Add from the palette.
• Set the KZ size (the known target/kill-zone size, in mm) and the BRACKET — the angular span the target subtends in your reticle.
• Tap the unit tag in the header to switch the bracket reading between mil (mrad) and MOA. It defaults to the active profile’s scope adjustment unit.

Output

• The estimated range to the target, shown large in your active distance unit (m or yd). Shows -- until a valid bracket is entered.

Notes

• Pure ranging maths — independent of the solved trajectory, so it works for any target whose physical size you know, not just the active profile/range.
• mil path: range (m) = KZ (mm) / bracket. MOA path inverts the same relation using 1.0472″ per 100 yd.
