Bench Rest Scorer
A photo-based scorer for multi-bull bench rest cards. Photograph a shot card, align the grid, and the tool gauges every impact and totals the score.
Reached from the Bench Rest Cards screen (and the active session). Saved cards live in Bench Rest Cards.
Scoring systems
- AGF BR20 (built-in): a 25-target card plus 5 sighters, scored 5–10 with
inward gauging.
X= the 10-ring (centre dot) completely shot out. - Custom cards can be authored in the Bench Rest Target Editor — ring sizes, targets per card, sighter count, and grid columns.
Flow
The scorer runs through six steps:
- Setup — pick the scoring system, bullet calibre (the gauging diameter), and whether to include sighters.
- Photo — take or choose a photo of the card.
- Align — drag the four corners onto the centres of targets 1, 5, 21 and 25, then tap the outer edge of target 1’s 5-ring to set the scale (homography).
- Preview — check the rings line up on every bull. Auto-detect bulls snaps them onto the printed centres (measures the thick black band, ~30 mm on BR20, for a per-target scale); drag any bull to fine-tune, or re-align.
- Score — tap where each shot hit, drag the marker to fine-tune, then OK to lock it and advance to the next target.
- Result — total, X count, max, and a per-target score table.
Output
- Per-target scores plus card Total, X count, and Max.
- Export image (share sheet) and Copy table for sharing results.
Notes
- Auto-detect is native-only; on unsupported platforms place/adjust bulls manually.
- Calibre matters: scoring uses inward gauging, so the bullet diameter sets whether an impact breaks the next ring up.
