Locations & Targets
A location is a place you shoot. It holds the range settings and atmosphere; each location contains one or more targets. The active location and target drive the firing solution.

Locations
- Locations (drawer → Configuration) lists your locations; tap to edit.
- A location sets:
- Max range — how far to calculate.
- Step — the interval between table rows (DOPE card and friends).
- Altitude — keep this realistic; it strongly affects the solution.
- Atmosphere — temperature, pressure and humidity.
Live weather
The atmosphere panel can fetch current conditions:
- ● Live — conditions were just fetched; the footer reads Updated N min ago · Refresh, and tapping it fetches again.
- ◷ Last used — showing the previously fetched values; tap to try fetching live weather again.
- ✎ Manual — you have entered values by hand; a footer link resets to live weather.
- Ammo Temp can follow ambient or be set separately — it feeds the powder-temperature velocity correction when the load has an MV/temperature table (see Loads).
Targets
A target is a specific shot within the location:
- Distance — the range to solve for.
- Slope — up- or down-hill angle of the shot.
- Latitude & azimuth — where and which way you’re firing, used for the Coriolis effect at long range.
- Size — the target’s physical size, used for danger space and hit-probability figures.
Add several targets to a location to describe a full range or stage; the Target Card and Positions widgets show them together, and a saved PRS Stage can sequence them — with build and move time — for the PRS Stage Trainer.
Switching on the fly
The two buttons at the top of Results show the active profile and location — tap either to switch or edit. The whole solution recalculates for your new choice.
