Sensitivity

How much your point of impact shifts at the active range when key inputs are off — a quick read on what actually matters at distance.

Usage

  • Add from the palette. For each enabled input it re-solves the trajectory with that input perturbed by your chosen amount and reports the resulting POI shift at the active range. Every solve re-zeros, so the figure is the true shift at range for the same zero.
  • The only widget that re-runs the solver; results are memoised so it recomputes only when the solve, range, unit or settings change.

Configurable

The gear lists every perturbable input. Turn each one on or off and set its Amount:

InputAmountOn by default
Velocity%Yes (1%)
BC%Yes (1%)
Temperature°CYes (10 °C)
PressurehPaYes (10 hPa)
Weight%No (1%)
AltitudemNo (100 m)
Zero rangemNo (5 m)
Sight heightmmNo (2 mm)
Humidity%No (20%)

Output

  • A table of Input, Change and Shift — one row per enabled input, in the order above. Change is the perturbation applied (e.g. +1%, +10 °C) and Shift is the resulting movement in drop, signed, in the active drop unit (a “clicks” preference falls back to mrad here). Larger numbers mean that input matters more for the current shot.
