Wind Chart
A live plot of wind speed over time from a connected wind meter, with direction and the session’s min/max.
Usage
- Add from the palette. Needs a connected wind meter (Calypso ultrasonic or WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter); until one is connected it shows a prompt.
- The trace starts when the meter connects and clears when it disconnects.
Recording
- Record captures the live trace; Stop saves it as a Wind Session (auto-titled by time and location) under the Wind Sessions menu.
- If a shooting session is being logged at the time, the wind session is linked to it automatically; otherwise it is saved standalone. You can re-link or unlink later from the Wind Sessions screen.
- While recording, Live wind updates on every reading (the idle battery throttle is bypassed).
Output
- A speed-over-time line in the active wind unit.
- Direction arrows along the top edge, sampled across the window (each points where the wind is travelling).
- Dashed Min and Max markers for the session’s speed range.
- The x-axis is pinned to elapsed session time, so as the session runs the fixed tile width spans more seconds — the trace compresses rather than scrolling.
