Importing Data

Two kinds of import: chronograph shot files, and full loadouts from other ballistic apps.

Chronograph files

Import a chronograph’s export file rather than pairing over Bluetooth — drop the file in from anywhere (AirDrop, email, cloud drive).

• Open Devices (drawer → Tools) → your chronograph → Import Chronograph, and pick the export file.
• Supported formats:
  • FX (FX True Ballistic chronographs) — CSV export.
  • MagnetoSpeed v3 — CSV export.
• The app parses the file and shows a preview of the shot strings; choose where the shots go — a load test (see Loads) or a session target (see Sessions & Logging).
• Imports are tracked, so re-importing the same file warns you first; an import can be deleted again from the same screen.

From other ballistic apps

Move your rifles across without retyping them:

• Open Import data from other apps (from the Backup & Restore panel, or the Import Data screen).
• Supported sources:
  • Strelok (.srl files) — the app detects the source, previews the rifles inside, and imports the ones you select as profiles. Their cartridges are added to My Projectiles, de-duplicated against what you already have.
• Imported profiles are ordinary profiles afterwards — review the key fields (muzzle velocity, zero, sight height) before trusting the solution.
