Group Analyser

A photo-based shot-group measurer. Photograph your target, mark the shots, and get the group’s size and statistics — no ruler at the bench.

Reached from Group Analyser (drawer → Saved Sessions & Targets), which lists every group you have saved; + New starts another one.

Flow

  1. Setup (optional) — link the group to a profile, location/target and load, so the analysis is filed against the right kit.
  2. Photo — take or choose a photo of the target.
  3. Crop — frame the target area.
  4. Reference — set the real-world scale from a known reference length on the target (e.g. a grid square or the target’s printed size).
  5. Aim — mark the point of aim.
  6. Impacts — tap each shot hole.
  7. Result — group statistics and a scatter view of the shots.

Output

  • Group size (extreme spread), mean radius/SD statistics, and the shot positions relative to the point of aim.
  • Export image — share a rendered card of the group via the share sheet.
  • Saved groups can be reopened from the Group Analyser list, and feed the Group Analysis widget.

Notes

  • Shots are placed by hand — tap, then drag to fine-tune. Accurate scaling matters more than a perfectly square photo.
