Full ballistic solver
Multiple drag models, atmospherics, high and low wind, spin drift, coriolis, slope and powder-temperature inputs. The solver will also help you true your BC and suggest multi-velocity BC models.
Customisable widgets
Build the screen you want for the device you are using. Resize, rearrange and open any widget full-screen. Widgets for any discipline, from airgun HFT to fullbore, and more on the way.
Scope & reticle aware
FFP/SFP, reticle selection and per-click adjustment in MOA, MIL or clicks. Output the way your turrets actually move.
High / low wind
Enter wind by clock or angle, with separate high and low holds so your call covers the whole range. Azimuth aware, set the wind on one target and the widgets update for every other target at that location.
Configurable dope card
Choose your columns and range steps. The card shows exactly the holds you want, in the units you read.
Shooting log & sessions
Log sessions and shots, revisit the day’s data, and build the record that feeds future analysis. The shot log even pre-fills with the calculated dope, so you can adjust the actual drop and windage and see how well your solve matches reality.
Saved layouts per profile
Name and save layouts, then assign them to profiles: a dedicated screen for every discipline you shoot.
Accounts & Cloud-Sync
Add an optional account and your profiles, loads and positions are backed up and on every device, including the web app. Sign in without a password: a one-time email code, a passkey, or Apple or Google.

Connect a Calypso ultrasonic, WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter or Kestrel 5700 for live wind and atmospherics, pair an FX or Athlon chronograph for shots as you fire them, and run the app on the phone, tablet or desktop you already own.

Throw a widget to an Apple Watch, a Wear OS watch or a Garmin. Target cards and the DOPE table stay live as the phone recalculates, and the shot timer and PRS stage trainer run their own clock and haptics on the watch, so the phone can stay in a pack.

dopeology connects to the wind meters and chronographs shooters actually carry, and imports the files everything else produces. And if the catalogue is missing your projectile or scope, request it from inside the app. Feature suggestions and problem reports reach us the same way.
Calypso ultrasonic
Connect a Calypso ultrasonic wind meter and drive the Wind Meter and Wind Chart widgets, plus every wind-dependent solve, from live readings, captured or streaming.
WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter
The WEATHERmeter feeds the same live wind pipeline: capture a gust or stream continuously, and record wind sessions alongside your shooting sessions.
FX chronographs
Pair an FX True Ballistic or Pocket chronograph and every shot lands in your session or load test as you fire it: velocity stats and charts with no retyping. CSV exports still import too.
Kestrel 5700
Stream temperature, pressure and humidity from a Kestrel 5700 straight into the solver, so the solution follows the conditions instead of the guess you typed this morning.
Athlon Rangecraft
A Rangecraft keeps its own history, so there is no file to export: connect and read the sessions off the device. Re-import one and only the new shots come across.
Apple Watch, Wear OS & Garmin
Throw a widget to a paired watch. Target cards and the DOPE table stay live as the phone recalculates, and the shot timer and PRS stage trainer run their own clock and haptics on Apple Watch and Wear OS.

When does dopeology launch?
Soon, on iOS, Android and the web. There isn’t a public date yet, because I’d rather ship it right than ship it on a promise. Sign up and you’ll get one email on launch day.
Is it a subscription?
The app is a one-off purchase. Buy it once and it’s yours: the full solver, every widget, all of your data on your device.
The only subscription is an optional account for Cloud-Sync and the web app, because servers cost real money every month. The app itself never requires it.
Do I need an account to use the app?
On mobile, no. Install it, buy it, use it. An account is only needed if you want your profiles, loads and positions synced across devices or open in a browser.
Does it work with no signal?
Yes. The solver runs on your device, so ranges with no bars are no problem. Live weather and atmospherics need a connection or a paired meter, but you can always enter conditions by hand.
What kit does it talk to?
Calypso ultrasonic, WeatherFlow WEATHERmeter and Kestrel 5700 for live wind and atmospherics, and FX and Athlon chronographs for shots as you fire them. Widgets also throw to an Apple Watch, a Wear OS watch or a Garmin.
Who owns my data?
You do. No ad trackers, no list-trading, no selling anything on. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to turn on Cloud-Sync.
What scopes and projectiles are in the library?
The app holds a huge number of scopes and projectiles, but if you don’t see what you need, you can request it inside the app.
