Projectiles
The projectile attached to your profile supplies the ballistic coefficient, drag model, mass and calibre the solver needs. Pick one from the library, create your own, or supply a custom drag curve.

The projectile attached to your profile supplies the ballistic coefficient, drag model, mass and calibre the solver needs.
The built-in library
- Open Select Projectile from the profile’s projectile tile.
- Browse or search the library; filter by category or manufacturer. It covers everything from airgun pellets to fullbore bullets.
- Airgun pellets may carry segmented (velocity-banded) BCs — several BC values, each valid over a velocity band — which the solver uses automatically.
My Projectiles
When a bullet or pellet isn’t in the library, create your own:
- My Projectiles (drawer → Configuration) lists your custom entries.
- The essentials are ballistic coefficient, drag model (G1, G7, …), mass and calibre — get these right and the trajectory follows.
- Custom projectiles appear in the picker alongside the library and can be attached to any profile.
- The BC Calibrator can save a tuned copy of your projectile here (“Save as Variant”) once you have logged real drop data.
Custom drag curves
For projectiles that don’t fit a standard drag model, define your own Cd-vs-Mach curve:
- Drag Curves (drawer → Configuration) lists your curves; the editor takes the curve points directly.
- A custom curve can be selected as the drag model on a projectile, replacing the standard G-models.
- The Drag Curve widget plots whichever model the active profile uses.
