Apple Watch

On iOS, a paired Apple Watch can carry parts of your firing solution to your wrist. The drawer shows a Watch Connected badge when a watch is paired and reachable.

Sending widgets to the watch

Supported widgets show a Send to Watch action (and Remove from Watch once sent):

• Target Card — the target list with elevation and windage corrections, readable at the firing point without pulling out the phone.
• Shot Timer — the drill configuration; runs can be driven from the watch itself, with the digital crown used for selection.
• PRS Stage Trainer — a whole PRS stage, pre-timed and pre-dialled by the phone. The watch calls each step, counts your rounds and cues you off its own clock, so the phone can stay in a pack; the finished run comes back to the stage’s history on the phone.

While a widget is on the watch it stays live — change the wind, target or profile on the phone and the watch display updates to match.

Timing lives on the watch

The two timed widgets run their clock and their haptics on the watch itself, not over the wireless link — the link’s latency would wreck the cue timing. The phone sends the plan; the watch runs it and streams the result back.

Requirements

• The watch app installs alongside the phone app via the Watch app on iPhone.
• Wear OS has the same companion: target cards, shot timer and stage runner.
