Velocity Chart

Velocity per shot for the active session, as a chart or a table, with chronograph readings flagged among any manual entries.

Usage

• Add from the palette. Reads the active shooting session directly — no connection or setup of its own.
• Plots only shots carrying a measured (actual) velocity; a shot without one leaves a gap rather than shifting the numbering.
• With multiple targets in the session, pick the target from the header selector, or All targets to see the whole session at once.
• The header toggle swaps the tile between the chart and the shot table: Show velocity table and Show velocity chart.
• The cog opens per-widget settings: which Table columns to show, and the Series layout used by the All targets chart.
• Shots streamed live from a chronograph over Bluetooth (Devices → Chronographs) land in the session the moment they’re logged, so the chart updates as you shoot — the widget itself never talks to a device.

Output

Chart

• One connected line through every measured shot in shot order, with a dot per reading.
• Shots tagged Chrono get an extra accent dot on top of their point, distinguishing them from Manual entries — see the legend below the chart.
• A dashed Avg line for the target’s mean velocity.
• On All targets, colour switches to meaning “which target”: one line per target with its own legend. Settings choose the layout: Per target overlays each target at its own shot number, All shots lays every shot end-to-end on one axis. Provenance is not marked in this view — pick a single target to see it.

Table

• One row per shot, in shot order: shot number, Source (Manual or Chrono), the measured Velocity, and the Time it was logged. Turn any of them off in settings.
• On All targets a Target column names the target each row belongs to, and numbering restarts with each target, matching the chart. That column only appears there — on one target every row would repeat the same name.
• A shot with no measured velocity still gets a row, shown as a dash, so the numbering lines up with the chart.

Stats

• A stat row below both views: Shots, Avg, ES (extreme spread) and SD (standard deviation), computed from the measured velocities on show.
